Match Report Press Report

Crawley Squash Club I Beat Corals II in a close match.

With the away team having higher Gradings in 3 of the strings, Home advantage looked to be needed to take the win. Local knowledge duly defeated the statisticians and the home team came through for a good win.

On paper, the number 4 string should have been the closest, with only 30 ranking points separating the two players before the match. Home advantage prevailed though, with Curtis Malik winning through.

It was the number 3 String which turned out to be the most competitive, with the Players battling out over a total of 76 Points ! Victory finally going to the Away Player, .

Player of the tie was the Home No. 5 string, Josh Attwell, gaining 100 Ranking Points from the match.

Player of the match must be the Away number 1 string, Kyle Finch, who over-turned a 1653 ranking points disadvantage to record a great win.
